SMT (SURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGY) SOLDER PASTE PRINTING IS THE FIRST CRITICAL STEP IN PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY.
Stencil Express provides framed SMT laser cut stainless steel stencils that are designed for optimum solder paste volume control suitable for high volume screen printing on PCBs (printed circuit boards).
Solder Paste Stencils are critical to PCB assembly and is required in the first step in the paste, place, heat reflow assembly of the solder paste printing process. The solder paste stencil needs to be extremely precise and provide a flat even stencil surface for fine pitch solder displacement for todays modern electronic micro components footprints.
Our laser cut solder paste stencil foils are mounted on aluminum frames and tightly stretched to provide superior solder paste printing.

With our choices of alloy selection to foil manufacturing and frame mounting, enables us to provide stencil materials that help control the printing process and reduce SMT defects.
Each component of the framed stencil has been rigourosly tested to provide high performance and reliability.
The industry standard aluminum frame size of 23"x23" (OD) is provided with 4 mounting holes on each corner that are compabatible for most semi/fully-automated stencil printers, with an image size of 18"x18".

Use of 100% fiber laser technology to manufacturer solder paste stencil that has an axial precision cut of +/- 2 microns (0.000079") tolerance using a focused laser beam diameter of 17 microns. This allows for:

Use of proprietary precision rolled strip manufactured from a 304 stainless steel base.
The foil's clean and homogeneous structure combined with low residual stress ensures minimal deformation also has the tightest thickness controls in the market. All foil material is certified to +/- 2% in the thickness uniformity.
